As part of his UK Acoustic tour, Ian will return for his 3rd visit to the intimate Betsey Trotwood
If you dont know Ian is a Liverpool-born singer-songwriter, guitarist, and frontman for the band Amsterdam, known for his poetic songwriting influenced by protest songs and Celtic sounds, as well as his previous cult indie band, Pele.
His song "Does This Train Stop on Merseyside?" gained legendary status after it brought broadcaster John Peel to tears and was covered by Christy Moore. Ian has also collaborated with and supported Elvis Costello, releasing a duet with him and occasionally performing as his backing band.
As at Ian's previous visits to the Betsey Ian will be supported by Paul Nowak and also this time by Banjo Jen
Please note this is an early evening show, The venue consists mainly of unreserved seating.
